iPad and movies

Can you get vlc for iPad anywhere still? I can't find it anywhere.

Got loads of movies on a hard drive will I have to convert them all an put them in to iTunes? What can I use to do this?

it was pulled for some reason, pity as it was handy if you were emailed video etc

You could try CineXplayer, from what I recall VLC was pulled over licensing issues.
