iphone without contract?

hey guys is there anyway of buying an iphone without the need of a contract and if so where? (apart from ebay)

Not yet.
The iPhone 3G is out nearer Christmas on PAYG.

You can buy an iPhone from eBay etc (should be lots of original ones around now) and use the O2 PAYG Sim though.. they've just released an iPhone version.
