I'm trying to fix one of my iPods, it works when plugged in but not on battery.
I bought a cheap £25 repair kit and I've swapped the battery, but it looks like the connector has come away from the circuit board.
Is this meant to be soldered on?
Because it doesn't look like it's ever been soldered, but it worked for a year or two on battery.
Edit : Just watched a YT vid and it's a soldering job, I'm going to need a tiny electrician with even tinier fingers.
