Irratic tick over speed, anyone elsse has this and know what it could be?

I've got ph1 172, for some reason it is irratically ticking over. Someintes normal and other times it is 1600-2000 rpm. Everything else is ok and it drives fine. Any ideas what this could be?

It's running ok again now, only seems to happen after it's been to a car wash?

Throttle position sensor.

If the Idle Control Valve is playing up it can do this too.

Phase 1 are notorious for the throttle body sticking.
