Is it any good?

I have the S5700 and it's a perfectly capable camera. If you're looking to get into the slr side of photography it's a good base. It's not an slr, rather a bridge model, but it shares many of the functions and features of one. Only major thing you can't do is change the lens.

I've found mine to struggle a bit with objects in bright light; it tends to end up with a slight purple fringe on the object, but it's only noticeable really close-up and I hear it's fairly common with Fuji.

For that price you won't get anything massively better. I'll be selling mine in the next month for around £60 in mint condition.. just to put it out there. :)
