buy a (NEW) ish car from a dealer..

and the tyres are all differnt brands and treads, and only have 3.5mm on each?

i know the 3.5mm is legal but its RWD and all differnt treads etc

same size and profile is all that law requires (per axle) i believe

ie both tyres on the rear axle must be the same 195/50 15 (any make) front axle they can be 195/45 15

there w*****s they agreed to it then said they wont.. there change point is 3mm.. the tyres are like 3.1mm, 3.3mm, 2x 3.5mm

yeah, if they wont do that, then tell them your goin elsewhere and give them a name of a place that has a car ur after, they'll change their mind, if they dont do that for you then there certainly not worth dealing with [edit]...unless its too late

If you are paying top $$ for this car tell them they WILL change the tyres or you WONT be buying the car, if they arn't bothered I would walk away because they obviousally don't want your money or value you as a customer ..

But then again I guess it depends how much you want the car and how much its going to cost to change the tyres, hence is it worth the argument ??

yer 2.2 m-tec coupe,, just called them then told em to shov the car up there arse unless it gets new tyres, its only 2 years old not like its a shitter lol! now going to pay cash for it.. as from the looks they were only going to make the $$ on the HP should piss them off!.
