to get the oil changed on a mk2 2002 172 at 1500 miles

my one just turned over 1700 miles. reno say it aint due till 12000 miles

Well I always change my oil every 3500. I would be tempted to as it can only do it good.

I changed mine at 6000 and it was still quite clean, glad I didnt leave it until 12,000 though. Done another 4000 since then and the oils clean as a whistle.
