  Clio RS200 Cup
Firstly, hello to everyone as this is my first post. After spending the past 5-6 years looking at and lusting after a 200 cup I'm now in the position to buy and hope to within the next week or so.

I've tracked prices and I'm fairly sure of what things should be going for and what I should be looking to pay. What I'm after is a 2009 200 cup with full Recaro seats and 30,000 on the clock, now privately these are around £7,500-£8,000 and a dealer is normally around the £9,000 mark. I'm sure this is no news to you guys but here comes my problem/question. KTR car sales have http://www.ktrcarsales.co.uk/used-c...sport-cup-3dr-blandford-forum-201503231974201 for sale currently, spot on what I'm after. However even for a dealer it's £1000 over what I would expect, now I've read enough to know the reputation of KTR and their standing in the Renultsport world however is it worth the extra just for a car from them? I don't doubt that I "won't find a better car elsewhere" but compared to similar spec ones for £2,000 less I'm having difficulties understanding why it's so much more, even taking into account that the big 5 year belt service has been done.

Is there something I'm over looking, is it a good deal or should I just go private and save the cash? Any help would be great.

You clearly haven't read enough if you think they have a good reputation!
I'll have to admit it's my first time on here but looking at all the buying guides online they seem to reference KTR and after searching for reviews of KTR specifically I couldn't find anything bad, just all good.

To buy a car you mean or getting work done?

I have mostly bought private or from steve @r sport cars on here

I take all my cars to mike@rentech in portsmouth
To buy but I'm going to need to know good places once I've got one, I'm in the Portsmouth area too so that's handy to know.

You have £10 K on the hip?

No, stayed clear of that after the comments on here. Increased my budget a little and went for a 2012 with 20,000 on the clock, same spec as the K-Tec but white.
Sounds good,I hope it lives up to your expectaions & gives you much trouble free enjoyment & fun.

Thanks for all your messages and pointers, I'm sure that I'll be spending a fair amount of time on here and will be relying on your help again.

I picked her up last night and after 6 years worth of waiting to own one I can so far say that it was worth every second.
