Is it worth lacquering powder coated wheels?

I will be getting my wheels powder coated matt black soon and was thinking, is it worth getting them lacquered?
As far as I know powder coating is tougher than paint in the first place and I have also read that lacquer can start to come away easily although not sure on the last bit. So what would people recommended? Thanks

i wouldnt bother. the whole point of having them matt black is so they arent shiney isnt it.

if you want them glossy go for a gloss or satin black power coating.

Yeah but I have heard you can get a matt lacquer though?

i wouldnt bother mate, powder coatings tough and will look fine as they are

Cool, I'll save my money in that case. Thanks for the advice. Suppose if I ever need to redo any of them it's cheap anyhow.

you prob wont do unless kerb em mate.
I had some compomotives on my old evo and they were powder coated from new, its hard as hell compared with paint
