I was going to say you can buy an adaptor to be able to use a 182 De-cat pipe but then that doesnt really help as you would need to take the lot off anyway!
well do they involve much work putting on and takeing off anyway ? my mate works at a garage could get him to to it but done want to be payen much £££ every mot
You could always get your original cat pipe modified. Mine has been modified (by the previous owner) so it has a joint under the car, basically in the same place where a 182 would have a joint. Makes it a hell of alot easier swapping from decat to cat for M.O.T times.
Edit: You'd also need a custom decat pipe making up as well if you went down this route though.
Not sure how much you'll get charged for modding your cat pipe as it was already done on mine when I bought the car but I paid £75 for a custom decat at ProSpeed.
