Is this idle too low?

Seems quite low to me? Also if I'm on a hill clutch controlling the revs will go up and down, is my lambda knackered?

Nope thats fine for the normal warm idle. The spec is 850rpm +/-10% I think.

mine revs up and down when its cold idling once its warm its fine, never really bothered me that much to be honest

Ahh thats useful mine is on the same spot on the rev counter, occasionally will just stall for some reason though hasn't done it in a month or so though?

Throttle body needs cleaning common fault.

Rpm is fine re the original poster though

That idles higher than mine does.

So no, it's not too low.

mine sits at that and ive got a different engine. yeah the revs go up and down when you try and keep the revs at the same rpm.

How do you clean a throttle body? Or do you not if you aren't a mechanic?

Could just be the engine trying to maintain the idle. Depend how bad it is.

Its not to difficult just take the intake off and then glean the area when the buttfly is with carb cleaner etc and clothes/tissues/ear buds.

Mine too (only when the engine is cold). Thr Throttle body is clean. Dealer mechanic told me once is that it is because I'm use NGK plugs and not renault marked (I know they are the same). I told him that I won't pay 50% more only for renault logo on plugs.
