Is this my AIRCON Coolant?

Hi everyone,

today my climate control stopped making the air very cool. Do you think this could be the coolant that needs to be checked, because the car is a 2002 172, shouldn't renault have checked this on the 90 000km ( +- 50000Miles???) service?

It could need regassing i think you mean,

could be anyhting, leak/loss of refridgerant, condensor, ac pump etc needs to be checked for level and then possible dye test for leaks

I don't think it is a liquid coolant. Typically they are charged with gas and needs to be done by a garage / specialist with charging lines and gas, etc.

It either needs regassing or your clutch on your AC pump is not working. start your engine, press your AC button and look at the AC pump and see if the whole of the pulley is rotating if the middle of the pulley is stationary there is your problem. the whole of the pulley should be spinning for the AC to work.

Mine didnt work when i bought my 172, i regassed it and everything but still no better

Then i changed the pollen filter and bingo lol

Was blocked with loads of seeds? They keep flying through my vents even now and i changed it in december!
