Soon going to be jumping into RS ownership in the shape of this 172 PH1 (all being well).

Better examples for less money available mate, there was a MINT one on PH for the same as that the other day.

If you can get it for a few hundred less ( around the 2600 mark) then i reckon its not bad, especially as its from a dealer, and would no doubt come with a warranty. Depends on quite how tidy the car is i guess?

thats before looking at it-

Its around £700 overpriced--- I sold a PROPER mint one for way less than that-

Looks in really crap condition for the mileage. My 111,000 mile PH1 looks almost new inside no wear on the seats like that. Suspension also looks really high for some reason

Agree with all points above. Also I know ferrett didnt pay as little as £2.3k for that 66k ph1 you had for sale? Someone from kent offered me £2.1k for mine the other day on fleabay '' I laughed! '':rasp:

Mine is a two owner car 1st owner had it for 5 years and did 12,000 in it, the last owner also had it for 5 years. When i bought it about 2 or so months ago its done 39,000 never been smoked in or looks like the back seat have even been sat in i gave £2700 for it on a X reg.

^^ that was an absolute find and a bargin! Out of intrest do you have all the old mot's? I brought mine with exact same mileage in 2006 for 5k+.

The Ph1 I had was a Y reg - so 2 years newer-- adds around £300 onto the value over a W reg-

Every sales/service invoice with the car-- compare the pics of mine V the other one.......
one receipt from renault for £1668 on the belts etc
