Is this the 3M tape people use for securing plates?

I have used it on all my cars but it doesn't seem to work well on the front of my Focus because it is plastic trim. Paintwork is fine

Sorry to jump in, but are those listed above, better than the adhesive pads supplied with FancyPlates......erm......plates?
As above, velcro does the job, plus you can remove them when cleaning the car.
