It all went wrong.

What was that all about then?

I was expecting a massive off judging by the hacksawing at the wheel in the first corner!

T1R's are awful, I've said that for years. I had mine on for a week.

Unlucky with the limp... weird one!

Nice little edit in their from a previous off.... Strange for the limp mode to just kick in.

Was more surprised at the sudden yanking of wheel upon turn in talk about aggression!! :rasp:

Did you find out what caused the problem? Loved the edit in the middle by the way! :D

How weird Mark, id guess at a sensor with a dodgy connection and hitting the limiter (with the sudden juddering) makes it break?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same thing when driving hard on track.

that mean the fuel pump is on its way out, had a few do it

Sounds feasible, it only happens when I've been hard on the throttle or the engine is under load. Thanks, will be an easier fix than trying to diagnose an electrical issue.

If clios are anything like a normal car its a case of removing the backseats and then getting the inspection hatch off and pulling the pump out and popping a new one on?

It's a clio.

Roof off, Engine out - Stip all windows - Take your shoes off - Remove pump.
