You need summerboard. Theres an option to skip the last row.

I am getting a new nano for Christmas, but think I am going to have get a Touch now too at some point. Probably when the 32GB version is out. They are a little sexual...OR the iPhone I guess. You can unlock them for Orange can't you?

Justin you'll need to downgrade your Touch to 1.1.1

you need to downgrade it to 1.1.1 by the looks of it, I've been having a bit of a play this afternoon. You can download the 1.1.1 firmware from the site linked in this thread.

just using the touch screen, takes a bit to get used to it but it works.

For the nes emulator it has the pictures of the dpad and 2 buttons on screen to press etc.

Very easy to do, i didn't even use a PC, i did it all with the ipod touch

Now got google maps, email, all the old NES games, weather etc.

i really really want a ipod touch, but ive got a ipod video 30gb to sell first.

I cant decide between a 8gb or a 16gb version.

My 30gb has the full series of lost and heroes and about ten other films and hundreds of songs on it and it still had 3gb left.

so i dunno if a 8gb would be too small

Be sure and follow all steps near the end of the procedure to get the Installer to appear again in 1.1.2, Jailbreak has to run for a second time.

omg its the easiest ything in the world. Turn it on with both power and home button down = restore mode. Shift click to restore to 1.1.1 then once 'your in' go to installer run oktoprep and restore to 1.1.2 done dusted pff

Just search for the user ipodtouchmaster on youtube. He has video tutorials to follow step by step with all the links to software needed... Can't go wrong:S

Download Summerboard via the installer. Then go to library/summerboard/themes

and put it in there. But you'll to FTP to your Touch first.
