You will respect the power of the ITR!

My mate and I swapped for a week...............lets just say it gives true feed back and has buckets of power!

Then he sold it and the guy that bought it thought he was a racing driver and did this 48hrs after he bought it............Ahhh the power of "lift off oversteer" if IIRC lol

what you got?? a standard 172?

apart from smt6 and viper yes.

What power do the ITR have? I stayed with it till around 60, then changed into third and it pulled away abit.

in my meg 225 i stayed with one of the new ones until we turned of the carriageway but they are fast

187bhp more importantly 122lbft torque, a 172 should stay with one , my old r5 stayed with my mates upto seriously high speeds even made him shocked and that was only a 15.5 1/4 spec car at the time

ahh should of put what model was it,

did it look like the black one (dc2) or was it bigger and rounder (dc5)

a (dc5) will have the legs on a 172 , fairly easy, mid to low 14s std in a straight line, throw in some bends and the lsd comes into its own, even against a excellent handling hatch like the 172

i can vouch for looks and speed, yet on the trader they are reall quite cheap compared with say the honda accord type-r that holds its value well.

theres a white one round our area took the bypass faster than ive ever seen a car doing it in all my time of travelling what a nobber for driving so fast but still rapid.

wonder how a cup with H&R + LSD and a few engine tweaks would cope against one. i do remember my old 172 with apex on was god like in the twisties (although too harsh for day-day driving)

According to evo they are slower than the cup standard, but i guess that must be the older shape as above. Dont think ive seen the new ones before
