yeah new gaskets as well lol

i think the top one was on its ast legs from all the times ive removed the plenium for polishing hehe

hands are fooked and i need of a rest now tho! i can defo say i will not be doing this again lol. its staying on for good

yeah it took an almighty tug to get them out, i struggled most with the bolt underneath the top mount which goes in to the side, but managed to rig up a home made tool with the use of some old sockets which made it a lot easier to do

yep. 6 hours mate.

only proper tool i used was the one to lock the cams.

good 'ol block of wood and trolly jack under the sump to support the engine, then dropped it down a little to get access to the aux belt too.

never again. lol

once i had mastered it, it took a few hours, most of the time was spent on stripping everything off and the rebuilding!

this was my 3rd attempt tho lol, there is a bolt which goes into the side of the inlet manifold from underneath the top mount which was really hard to get at and was on really tight so i had to modify a socket and use a steel rod to get enough leverage to get it off, it was an absolute ballache but well worth it in the end :)

hope the silver best is going well james? any new wheel/engine colour changes?

not changed a thing buddy, still has red engine, gunmetal 16s...trying to get inspired off yours andy, lost interest these days...;(
