Ive finaly ordered all of my sound system, and should have it tomorrow!

going to cost 60 quid to fit it, thats 10 quid to fit the HU and 50 for the wiring kit + installation of amp and sub.

I think he might have been looking at the amp running the sub and wether it was compatible....might be wrong though

far better equipment out there than alpine, their head units are good, but IMO that's where it ends



i posted a better system than that for £400 the other day

i know for a fact that sub and amp are good because one of my mates has the same, and its f**king brilliant.

The type r sub is a brilliant sub. Got one myself and i know alot of people with them aswell cant go wrong with Alpine IMHO I think dink means a dual voice coil if it has 4 terminal on the back its a dual one think all the type r's are dual voice coil

The alpine type r stuff is alright there headunits are great and there older amps are cracking the newer ones arent quite the same though. The wattage ratings have gone up and the prices have dropped just says 1 thing to me when that happens. Somethings been done on the cheap.

But £50 for the box..and £60 to fit is a bit steep if you ask me :/.

Its not a big deal to wires buy the wiring kit tells you how to do it. First time i put a system in was full system components sub amp headunit etc. took em and a mate 2 hours and neither of us had a clue what we were doing when we started.

Took us 40 minutes to get the sodding doorcards off. That was fun. just yanking it trying to get the bloody glue crap to come away.
