Janspeed Sport Cat...more noise?

Quick question please guys....

Anyone know if the Janspeed sports cat is any louder then std, at all?

Think i might have to resort to one to fix my blowing/hissing or what ever my problem is.

Janspeed are a reputable company who make good exhausts....I thought the quality of their sports cat was pretty good.

I suppose it depends what your comparing their stuff to Fred

Im happy with the quality of my exhaust...looks good. Think it might be my std cat, not sure.

Anyway, anyone able to tell me whether their cat is any louder then standard...

i have a janspeed decat, it louder, but not that noticeable tbh. (my one box unsilenced system however is loud as fook!)

Cant see a problem with the way its made. A little bit louder yes but you'd hardly notice it.

Ive cut mine down and mated it between a Magnex zorst and a 182 manifold. Makes a lovely deep quality sounding note now.

Still not really sure what to do as i think im at my max for loudness right now.... esp after a long journey. Really dont want it any louder.

I'm not a welder but can spot good an bad welds....TBH I thought the ones on my Janspeed weren't too bad.

s**t compared to my titanium mountainbike though

As far as noise goes I think you may notice a slight difference but it's not ear splitting bad.

The welding on mine is quite good, much better than the standard one and much less in price also. it has given my 172 at least 400 bhp extra aswell
