JC5-089 versus JC5-129

I have asked some questions about the gearboxes before but it stil isnt clear to me:

whats the difference between the 089 and 129? Whats the difference in driving them? Better acceleration, top speed?

I have a 172-1 for ring-use only.

089 has a 3.89 final drive. 129 is 4.07. Otherwise gears are the same.
