what do you guys think of the jms engine package???

ported inlets,induction and ecu.
ive read good and bad!

for the money its a great mod. induction sounds the nuts, and with that, ported inlets and ecu calibration makes the car feel much better. lot less jittery pickup and car feels smoother through the gears.

I had the package on my 172 and I was very happy with the increase in performance I gained 11bhp iirc. The induction kit sounds great as well.

this is good to know. ive not had mine r/r since the kit was put on but they way it drives/pulls is such an improvement over standard

Found my graphs for you, it made way more torque across the rev range

Before at Surrey Rolling Road 160.7bhp 150.0lbsft

After at TDF 171.9bhp 159.8lbsft

i paid a little under £500 iirc. thats ported inlets upper and lower, new gasket, v6 incuction box with pipercross (road) filter, silicone bend off tb to induction box and ecu re-calibration. pay an extra £40ish and get inlets powder coated colour of your choice too

pops and bangs map is an add-on but im unsure on the price

anyone out there with figures with what it does with a 182? not really bothered with bhp im looking for tourque!

There's nothing to be sceptical about, SSR and TDF are regarded by many as being very accurate so these results give a good indication.

The runs were performed independently of JMS and not to test the gains from the engine package, only way to test that would be to use same rollers, same day etc.

I was happy with the improvements the package gave so I wouldn't have cared what a bit of paper said anyway.
