I use that Pocket GPS POI speed camera database. Recommend it.

Jane wasnt up to the challenge in London's West End last night though I have to say. She took me there fine, but with the amount of no entry's, one ways and no turn right/left it became slightly challenging I must say. Almost through her out of the window at one point.

And once we'd reached the theatre she lost signal inside the building, and took a LONG time to obtain a lock once we'd left.

Someone mentioned this to me before about London and one way streets. mine does something similar near me in Bournemouth. Think it's cos the roads have been changed after the map has been made - are there any updates to the UK maps?

Normally though, it's spot on. Apart from assuming you drive at 75mph down every road when it's doing its route planning thing... But I'm still well happy with mine.

New software will be announced for the TomTom range within the next few weeks and it's also possible that they will now be using Navteq maps rather than TeleAtlas which will improve accuracy. One way streets also seem to be the stumbling block with TT in Glasgow, I tried a Garmin product using the navteq maps and it was far more accurate in these situations.

The new TomTom Rider uses these maps so hopefully the rest of the range will follow.

Well I hope that this new software will be incorporated in an update I can whack on my Tom Tom One, as driving in London was actually one of the main reasons I purchased it!

I think it will take the form of a replacement memory card for the TT One and will hopefully upgrade the software to Navigator 6.

TT usually offer a very fair upgrade path.
