Just got a new PC...what games should I get?

  Octavia VRS
Haven't been in the market for PC games for a long long time - Champ Man 2001 was my last buy I think!

What games should I treat myself to?

Cheers

how goods the PC?

P4 640 3.2GHz
160GB HDD
1GB RAM
ATI Radeon X600 256MB

Into some RPGs, driving sims, Champ Manager but I have heard the new one is now by a different company and not as good, footie games.

Cheers for the recommendations so far

^^ Pretty good then. Champ Man 6 is coming out at the end of the month iirc.

I personally like Call of Duty 2, Halflife 2 / Counterstrike Source / C&C Generals..

Looking forward to Operation Flashpoint 2 (or whatever the new name is called) - Anyone got any details on it?

Tyson.

Kenny - for driving sims, GTR and GT Legends are the way to go - top quality stuff. For a mindless drive and smash game - Flatout is a good one. I think it's been re-released on a budget label now?

As for RPGs - Morrowind and Dungeon Siege 2 are very good. Baldur's Gate 2 is an epic, though it does look a little dated now. If you want a more up-to-date (as in scenario) RPG, Fallout Tactics is a welcome alternative. Straight-forward experience hack games would include Diablo 2 and Sacred.

For FPS - Battlefield 2 is the current daddy.

i cant put civ 4 down at the minute, think its a wicked game.

Football Manager 2006 is another thats played far too much

  1.6 Focus, 1.6 122S
The people that used to make Championship Manager now make Football Maneger, so thats the one you need to buy!

Yep - forgot that one. Have you tried the v1.52 patch on it m8? Seems to make the game a whole lot more stable and smoother, imo...

Also, as another suggestion there's Lord of the Rings : Battle for Middle Earth 2. Quality RTS game..

  Megane 225 Cup
Counter strike source..

Battle Field 2

If you like the fantasy style games try lords of the rings battle for middle earth 2 - tis susprisingly good

Or world of warcraft if thats your thing, although i think its over rated..

Just depends what style of gaming you are into.. killing stuff, driving things, or fantasy..

If Football Manager is the new Champ Manager I think I may never leave my PC for a few months lol.

Thanks for the other suggestions
