just rang up breakers yard..

Not really...its about average.

By law now scrap yards cannot sell you steels with knackered tyres on.

I phoned round asking for some just to move my spare Cup around and they wanted the same.

Unless you know a local fly tipping place where there are loads of wheels/fridges etc. unlucky.

Seems a lot to me. You could probably get a set of standard clio alloys with legal tyres for that off ebay etc. Or if you sign up on here you can put a wanted up etc.

Seems expensive to me, too. I bought a set of 5 15" Laguna steelies off fleabay for 45 notes, with tyres (albeit the wrong size for the Clio, but perfect for the Missus' Vectra)

i wouldnt mind but the tires they was selling me only came up to no more than 20 quid because they were part worns,

£40 for steelies alone dosent justify for me
