JVC stereo

the exad 701 unit is overall quite a good unit, endless amounts of features and a decent sound quality to boot. though you may also want to look at similarly priced alpine and pioneer units, as in my experience they are more reliable, though problems are unlikely with most head units nowadays

wouldnt use caraudiodiscount though, ive heard quite a few shock stories with regards to their customer services, plus you will find the unit cheaper at http://www.caraudiodirect.co.ukwww.caraudiodirect.co.uk and http://www.bassjunkies.comwww.bassjunkies.com

not a big fan of bass junkies as they will always try and sell you useless equipment, but on this occasion, i cannot fault their price on the kdshx701

hope this helps

to be honest, the only head unit around the price that id recommend is the DEH-P77MP, its quite a bit cheaper, but will sound as good, if not better than the jvc unit, not very attractive to most people though

if you like a dull (completely lifeless and almost OE) looking unit, that sounds amazing have a look at the becker range ;)

if you can stretch to it, the pioneer deh-p8600mp, its a great unit, has plenty of toys, a quality organic display and also sounds well balanced

Nah mate im into me fancy shmancy headunit colour displays, lol

I save me dull lifeless music products for me home cinema system, lol

That pioneer unit looks pretty good (DEH-P77MP), quite discrete innit?

yes its a brushed aluminiun face plate, very basic in appearance, but IMHO thats how all the best units are

again, its not to the taste of everyone as there is no flashy lights, no all singing all dancing animations, it just does exactly what it needs to do
