K&N induction kit

Hi, I have a 1.2 2006 Clio Campus Sport and am currently looking at induction kit options. I know it will not provide a big, if any increase in performance but I would still like to install for the noise and mpg if there is no bhp to be gained. I’m liking the idea of installing a universal k&n filter so I can remove it and put it on a new car if I decide to sell it. Does anyone know the dimensions I would need? And also would this cause the engine to run lean? I have heard it has caused people on stock setups to run lean/misfires so obviously don’t want any of that. Also is the k&n air box filter that bolts straight on any good? Thanks for any advice you can give
