Looking to get a replacement air filter element for my clio. I was just wondering if theres much difference between the k&n and green filter elements?

Also, wheres the cheapest place to pick them up?

Thanks

im pretty sure thats not the case, however even if they are, the filters have a completely different construction

Green is 2 ply but is interwoven together, K&N is 3 ply.......

oh an get it from Demon Tweeks, speak to John Harris there an he will sort you out with a good price as long as your a member

Well Green tend to cater for all the Euro cars, K&N are American. Decide who you support. Theyre both the same sort of thing to be honest. OK one might have 2 ply and one 3 ply - well spotten Brun. But then again, Kleenex might be 3 ply and Tescos tissues might be 2. They both do the same job when you blow your nose on them.

BenR - In the interest of conducting an objective debate Ive just tried it, and I can confirm that cling film is crap at absorbing snot. So my face is now green. As is my choice of filter.

if you replace it with an induction kit/cone then yes, just with a replacement element its unlikely
