well you sure as hell wouldnt pay £700 for that! Especially as the RS Tuner is about a third of the price with a custom map

We have sold many of these to customer is other countries where they need a quality remap, we can customise to suit if they provide some form of datalogging, preferably from a dyno and obd at the same time.

The price k-tec have up there is for the forced induction setup, the clio ones are sold £100 cheaper.

Maybe people would prefer to buy the rstuner, that's their choice but if you want the map from us sometimes the remote box is the only sensible option.

Fair point about it all being about the tuning, but you arent the only one with an excellent reputation for good mapping

Also they are advertising that one as the one for the Clio197, not the forced induction one, so maybe there selling it for more than you?

My point was that its very expensive in comparison to its only direct competition.

Even if it was better than the RSTuner - for the price difference it would have to be considerable better. I have the RS Tuner and for the money there is no better mod for the Clio. It is bargain, even with a "generic" map.

I guess the only advantage the ktec one offers is it doesn't appear you need a laptop to install the map. This however could be seen as a disadvantage as well as i would imagine your alot more limited than having the procesing power of a decent laptop.

Regardless the price difference outways any pro's/con's in my opinoon

frankly £700 is a rip.
£600 would be a rip.
It needs to be priced no higher than 350. As said, a custom map could be had for 3-400 on a dyno ffs

I bought PFC last night, the RSTuner review i thought was excellent, 6bhp and 7lb/ft if i remember right at te wheels of a 172 cup, for £160 id say thats a bargain

Im getting one off the folks for crimbo, shame the pound isnt a bit stronger against the euro

How does the ktec one differ then? wouldnt catch me paying 4 times as much for essentially the same thing as far as i can see
