K800i on Vodafone??

Just ordered a new contract for my mum who is on Vodafone, she already has a phone we got her for christmas, so we ordered a free K800i for me to have. I am on T-Mobile, so I am assuming the thing is fairly easy to unlock, only thing is I know Voda have a tendency to splash their own shizzle all over the phone, can you change the firmware on the phone so it doesnt have vodaphone apps all over it??

you might be suprised alot of voda phones ship unlocked..

My K800i IS branded/locked to Vodafone.

Mine is too.. but in this case, I think the Vodafone changes are big advantage - they've also changed the buttons on the front - I have a phone up and phone down button.. they aren't there on an "plain" k800i..

Therefore I assume the residant chav on the local market should have no problem in unlocking it ?
