K800i or W810i

Not sure which phone to get.

I like the look of them both and my sisters fiance has the W810i and he likes it.

I've seen the K800i and looks like a good camera.

What is the benefit of having the K800i over the W810i? The K800i seems about £50 more expensive on ebay.

I'm not overly fussed about having a wicked camera.

i have the w810i.

all i do is make calls and send texts, functions don't really bother me, so i chose the w810i just on looks.

K800i no doubt about it, the W810i is old hat in comparison. The k800 uses a newer version of the SE os, its the generation after the w810.

k800i without a doubt - just because, it has no WALKMAN plastered all over it.
It's an awesome phone!

I had the option of both when I upgraded recently. Chose the K800i first but when I got it I realised it was'nt as well suited/equiped for use as an mp3 player, which was what I really wanted as my Zen Micro has packed up .

K800i does'nt come with headphones or a removable memory card as big as the W810i's so I sent it back and got a W810i. Agree that the K800i does have the upper hand in looks and is the newer model (if that matters to you), but they both have the same spec camera: 2.0 megapixels.

Mine did'nt which I did think was a bit strange since O2 had sold it to me as a 'walkman' phone. Your right you can buy bigger memory cards, I did'nt want to have to do that seeing as I originally wanted the W810i anyhow.

Good choice. Disregard anything I have said about the K800i looks much better than W810i, it was the k750i I had!

I have a w810i which is a great phone and does all i want!! I just dont ike the k800! that camera cover sticks out a mile, and all the problems that have occured on esato make me think its badly put together!!

Agree about problems on k800i, when mine went dead did a few net searches and it seems quite a few have had the same problem?
got a new one in 24hours though, so wasn't a real big problem to me
However the camera cover doesn't bother me, if you want superior camera
(3.2mp v 2.0mp) then who gives a s**t whether the cover sticks out a few mm more...lol

I'll update mine once I get it. Is it Sony ericsson that provide the warranty on the product should it pack up or would I have to return it to a retailer as I'm buying it from ebay.

Do I have to fill out a warranty registration form?

Btw - I got it for £205 brand new + all accessories.
