Keep or sell?

My brother bought a clio cup 172 in 2006, as soon as he bought it I said when he sells it I’ll have it! I bought it in 2013!! I didn’t use it for 3 years…then changed jobs and had to use it .( cycled to work)… Then in 2022 I bought my wife’s BMW, and for 4 years I alternated between cars… but recently I changed jobs only 2 miles from home , and now cycle to work most days.. My MOT on the clio has expired and I’m putting it in my dads garage…( to save on road tax etc) it does need money spending on it ( which I haven’t got) wear and tear basics, and cosmetic bits…but I made sure I had timing belt changed and dephaser ( twice) in the time I’ve own it, I’m in a dilemma to leave it in the garage for along time rotting away or sell it?

Guess it’s one of those, they will go up in value but probably less so if it needs x amount spending on it to bring it up to a standard, and in a humid garage it’ll just rot to nothing anyway.
I’d love a standard cup again, shouldn’t have sold the last one I had, out of all the clios I’ve had a standard 172 cup is still the best road car to me.

If it’s not rotten and you don’t need the money leave it in the garage until the time is right.

If you’re not really attached to it, get rid

As ant said if you can keep it for another day do so, if not or not bothered stick it up for sale.
