key fob battery

just wondering...if i change the battery in my key fob,will i need the key re-programming? ive been told i will,but i didnt when i used to own a vectra

i wouldnt have thought so dude aslong as you change it quickly.

Mind you being french anythink is possible !

No ive changed mine in both fobs, dont leave it for 10 mins or something stupid, just change it straight over and it will be fine normally..

Theres also a method where you insert the key into the ignition, hold the button on the key down and turn the battery / or i think its turn the engine on and it bleeps... i think this re syncs the key i think.
