Key fob

My mate has just brought a clio but the key fob doesnt work. The button inside locks & unlocks the doors. We've change the battery but it still doesnt work. could it be the actual fob? can you just buy the bit to go inside the key? will u have 2 get it set up to the right radio signal to the car? is ther anywher ova than renault that ould do this?

To get Renault to cut and programme a key is somewhee in the region of £120.

when you press the button on the fob do you here it click? if not a little piece has broken inside and you just have to solder it back on. other wise it is a new key im afraid
