Key Programming

Not for my 182, but for my mums Renault Megane (p reg) .

where can i get a key programmed cheap...and a key also? renault want stupid amounts of money. have tried replacing batteries in the main key but this didnt work?>

Only Renault do it I believe as they won't give the key code out for anyone else to do it, unless someone else knows otherwise because I had this problem myself.

i did a m8's mondeo from a web page on line ???? reprogrammed a new fob ?

... yeah there are other people that will do them if you look around. I'm currently waiting for a someone to do mine, the price is 120 quid for my 172's replacement. Renault charge upto 150 quid so not that much difference really. They can get the supplementary key code from Renault if you haven't got it which will cost another £20. These guys are mobile and have the necessary coding software for various car manufacturers.

Renault quoted me less than £120 for mine before and that was a new key and it coded.

right on a p reg megane check first on the key you say is faulty that the led has not com unsoldered if so thats the problem. re soldered it, quite common
