Knackered Gear Knob

The silver finish bit on the gearknob of our Clio Dynamique is faded and scratched to bits. Renault don't sell the insert part seperately - I have to buy a new gear knob apparantly. How do I change the knob?

you have to hacksaw the actual gear knob off however theres a user on here that does a carbon fibre insert for gearknobs, tonyT i think his username is however someone will be able to clarify.

think its £15 for the insert (not 100%) but it is real carbon fibre so its a fair price

Thought about that but then there would be no gate diagram on it.
