Knobs

Ok got your attention... So my insert is worn off and looking pretty scruffy, and I have to change the gaitor as the clips are snapped so I thought I should change the gear knob at the same time, u was looking at these

quite expensive but appear to be decent quality I was going to go for black-red to match the wheel trim I will get..

so my question, reading the info it appears they are glued on and need forcing off, is the reverse selector lift part of the gear knob or does that stay on?

If your really forcefull you can twist off the old gear know, but its stuck down with glue! So what I done was used hacksaw and just cut it off. The reverse is not together with the gear know itself so it is fine to take off.
