knock knock

...is what i hear when i accelarate and de-accelarate and when i go over bumps, but not if i go from left to right and vise versa. just a single knock when i do any of the above...

what is it, its buggin me, dad says its nothing...is it

I recon it ya engine just about to fall out, dont go over 5mph and you will be ok!!!

Could be lower ball joints, zorst, anti-roll bar links, engine steady bar anything like that, best get it checked at a garage mate

Could just be an engine mount, I had a similar knock to that and just needed one of the mounts tightening

yea, im still pretty sure something is knocking.......something to do with the engine most likely.

You get much movement of your gear stick when booting it from no throttle and when backing off from full throttle?

Its the engine, not the gearstick....sheesh....

excessive gearstick movement can indicate a split/worn engine mount.
