This has happened on my car for a while now and I've been down to Rentech for them to try and identify the problem but it's been unsuccessful.
I can now get the knock to happen when I want... providing I'm on some uneven ground (e.g. gravel).
If I'm stationary on gravel, turn the steering wheel to a full lock position... as I get near to the full lock position, there's a continuous knocking/vibrating, which is felt and visible through the steering wheel. When I got my mate to turn the wheel while I stand outside, the wheel also kinds of shakes/judders. This happens on full lock on BOTH sides.
Does anybody know what this might be?
