Knocking/clunking noise

When I let off the accelerator and put it back on there I a loud clunking noise coming from the front of the car it also happens sometimes when I am braking and cornering. Had a look at work and everyone said that it was a drive shaft but it doesn't really happen on full lock. Has anyone else had this problem.

Wouldn't be worn/damaged engine mounts would it?

thats what i was thinking but if it was the engine mounts wont it be making the noise when i am stopped and revving it??
