Knocking noise from front N/S

noticed it this mornin when i pulled up and was sat in neutral with the engine running... anyways it was the same again when i pulled in from work and since hav had my sister press the clutch in 2 see if it stopped which it did and then as soon as she lifted off the clutch it started again i had a new valeo clutch fitted last month when i had a gearbox fitted after mine died.. just wondering if any body has a rough idea as 2 what could be causing it

Did they fit a new release bearing? Has the box been rebuilt? Could also be the main shaft bearing of the box.

i thought the release bearing came in the clutch kit and no it was removed from a cup and fitted the very next day as i was stucki in the north east and couldnt wait the time of getting the box rebuilt as i had 2 be at work.. i do have a video on my phone but its been a pain and wont let me get it on the laptop

I was thinking release bearing, but they normally squeal. Something inside the box maybe?
Does it change when your in gear?
Gearbox mount?

iv only noticed it when im pulled up with the engine running.. i popped out earlier 2 have a listen and it had stopped but then after leaving it roughly 2 hrs i popped to the shop came back and its doing it again.. sick of the car now tbh i can see it going a journey soon
