knocking noise from front..

it does it when i lock to lock the stearing but also when im driving and theres bumps in the road... its getting worse..

i thought it may be a ball joint but im not sure.. any help or ideas would be greatfull

If its not speed dependant i'd say top mounts... hard to say without seeing though.

same problem knocking over pot holes was told top mounts by elite wheels

I had this problem, check your track rod end for play as this knocks quite bad if it's worn. I also changed by ball joints the same time, although they looked solid while flexing them with a bar when they were complete, when I pulled them off there was excessive play in them, hopefully it will cure the knocking I've been having. Track rod ends go every year on mine as it's lowered and does a few track days now
