Knocking noise when on full lock

Hi CS,

Something I've noticed when using my car, but ONLY when driving at stupidly slow speeds when at full lock (most commonly when driving into/out of a car park spot or turning around). I steer the car onto full lock and hear this knocking noise coming from the wheels and feel it through my steering wheel, its not a single knock but more of a consistent one until I straighten up the car. Any ideas?

Also, while I'm here and to save wasting another topic, I filled my windscreen washer tank up a couple weeks back, and for some odd reason when using the washers I get an extremely weak flow of water coming out of the washer jets, so weak that they dont even reach the screen and end up running down my bonnet instead, any ideas of this too?

Pull the washer jets out and clean the jets and pipes. Probably just blocked up.

Knocking is down to either inner CV boot or the wishbones.. I think

I always put fairy in. It's so soft and gentle on my windscreen.

thats great until it congeals in the pipes and the bottle also blocking the motor.

I have the same problem on my Clio, i don't now what it is but my car has just been into Reanult for a full service and i told them about it, they said they couldnt find anything with it

Was just saying so people know. Does my head in the amount of customers come in claiming faulty washers when its their fault.

prob either a CV joint or the top suspension mounts

is it a knock or a spring noise?

its a knocking noise mate, only when on full lock though.

Sounds like a cv
If the car isn't handling quite like you expect it too and feels a bit loose in the bends then have a look at the track rods too (gearbox end not track rod ends)

Hi im having trouble with my clio 182 with cup packs when I go round roundabouts I feel unsafe as my wheels feel as tho they lose grip and the car takes roundabouts wide the steering feels very light and loose. Plenty of tread on tyres and just had cv boot clip replaced drivers side

ANY IDEAS PLEASE
