Been away for a while but I've finally got myself another 182! Picked it up Friday and loving it so far, again!
However, on my way home from work this afternoon I heard some sort of knocking/tapping/clicking when I set off through a set of lights, seems to be in either 2 or 3 knocks and then nothing after that until I set off from stand still again. My first thought was driveshaft on its way out, but I've read could also be engine mount(s) , I'll just add there is no knocking on full lock left or right when moving at any speed, it only does it when I set off, harsh or slowly.
Another question I have, if it is my engine mounts do I need to change the full thing or could I just get some of them polybush things and would that be a cure? I'm getting an ex-renault mechanic to have a browse hopefully tomorrow so he should help me but if anyone has any other ideas feel free to let me know!
P.s: where's good for parts these days as I've not had a Renault for almost 4 years , still k-tec or have we moved?
