Kodak camera tunes off when zooming, why!!

v600 model, what can i check to sort this out.

Bet your either using non rechargeable batteries or too low AH rated ones.


If you use too low AH rated batteries when you zoom the batteries cannot supply enough power quickly enough, the voltage drops and your camera thinks your batteries are dead.

Buy 2000AH or above rated batteries and all your problems will go away.. plus the higher rated batteries will actually last longer aswell !

one of my old cameras did this with brand new panasonic batteries.

was fine with duracells

its the same branded rechargeable battery which I got with the camera. nothing has change ie parts or batteries
