Ding ding, winner.Cheaper as the car's not being driven.
Hi,Anyone know of any good companies that offer Laid Up Policys?
Tried ClassicLine, Footman James, Lancaster etc all turned down because the V6 isn't old enough, not in a garage or my age.
Really pissing me off now.
What would you guys do if you just planned on carrying the car to track days. Not going in the road at all. Currently pay £450 with Flux for limited mileage on my cup. I've only covered around 200 road miles this year. It seems pointless having it on the road. Car is stored in the workshop
Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try if you like. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
We have several different laid up insurance schemes. The car doesn't always have to be garaged on some of the schemes.
Regards,
Dan.
We can offer a 1000 miles policy which could work you. That way it still gives some miles to use the car to drive to MOT's and for any work it would.
Plus by reducing the miles that low it will give you a very low price.
Feel free to drop me a PM if you wanted to get a quote for that.
Best Regards

Dan,
Just arranged it through yourselves. You were the cheapest by far and the lady on the end of the phone was very helpfull. I didn't catch her name but if you can find out, please thank her for me!
Thank you.
Ryan.
I'm considering a 2nd car - track day 95% of it's life.
How does that work with regards to the policy ?
Say (hypertheticals) I do 1000 miles a year on road to track, but 300 a time on track .. and I do 10 a year. So the car's showing that I've done 4k but only 1 was on road.
Or is this not the right policy for such events ?
Belive it's only miles on the road that count? or you could get a very limited 1000 mile policy and then pay for track cover each time? I don't have a clue on what the costings of that would be.
