lambda sensor number 2

hi all,
my engine management light is on and my 182 is running like a bag. had it plugged in and it said lambda number 2. does any one know if this is pre cat or after? also, are they the same sensors as each other?

From reading on here I understand that the pre cat lambda is the one which actually does something, the post cat lambda doesn't really do a great deal.

They are the same sensors, so you can buy one, change it, and if it doesn't work, swap them over.

I recently replaced my pre cat lambda due to it running like crap from a cold start, it immediately fixed the problem.
