lambda sensors. Cleanable?

Is it worth trying to clean my 1st lambda sensor? Will this have any effect if it is faulty or should i just buy a new one and save myself some effort?

new one is probablly your best bet i cleaned mine up the first time took me ages and in the end the car wasnt running any smoother and the engine management light was still on. ended up buying a new one shortly after

Swap it around with the post cat sensor.

Cleaning mine seemed to make it worse. I got a new Bosch one from GSF for £55 or thereabouts.
