Lancia Back to Rallying

Lancia have announced that they will be returning to rallying, with a Rally4 version of the Ypsilon. Basically, it's a 208/Corsa Rally4 in a Lancia frock, so a 210bhp 1.2 turbo engine, sequential gearbox etc etc. There is talk of them doing a Rally2 version in the future to replace the Citroen C3.

They're also doing an Ypsilon HF road car, but that's electric, which is a bit meh. Nice that they used a Martini-inspired livery at least.

The car looks like someone bashed the 'randomise' button on the drawing board, but good to see the name back in rallying at least!

The livery is cool, I like the Stratos style rear lights too. Everything else is just mediocre.

Not to be sniffed at these days. Bloody quick cars in the right hands. They'll keep up the super-duper MK2 Escorts with Millington engines which is pretty impressive.
