Laptop Purchase

Looking for an good laptop for a budget of £400 and i nearly had an impulse buy at PC world today, but doing some research got the better of me.

It is the Acer 5633

Spec is

Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 Processor
1.66Ghz 667Mhz FSB 2MB Cache
1GB Ram
160GB HD
DVD Rewriter
15.4 Screen
With Norton Internet Security and Vista Home

£359.99

i didn't think it was a bad price? and i looked at all laptops in there, and the ones which were better in noticeable ways were £499 and above.

It doesn't have wireless, but (forgive me if i am wrong) this can be easily rectified with a USB adaptor (plug and play).

Any suggestions on an alternative?

Obviously i understand there are A LOT better laptops out there, but i would like to stick to within £100 of the above price i.e. £459.99 being TOPS.

alll laptops have built in wireless now it sounds good for the money

yeah and the core 2 duo t5500 processor is very good iirc.
seems good from what little i know of laptops.

what he said - they are simply the cheapest bang for buck on the market at the momment.

indeed i have seen the vostro's - good laptops... but once you add vat and shipping, you're talking £500 which i am not really aiming to spend...
